Dnyaneshwar Gramonnati Mandal, Ale is one of the renowned Educational institutions in the Northern Pune district. As area is hilly, it was deprived of better educational facilities. By taking into Consideration, especially the need for rural girls Sanstha had good intentions to create educational atmosphere in the nearby area for the local farmer families. This intention was implied firstly in 1959, when Sanstha started High-School and Junior College. Imparting the education in Arts, Commerce and Science faculty, Computer Training Center, the door is opened to the boys and especially girls for taking higher education from University of Pune.

Village Ale has a grand tradition of Varkari Sampraday. A holy Samadhi of buffalo blessed by Sant Dnyaneshwar is closed to the area of college.

Hon. Balasaheb Jadhav College of Arts Commerce and Science has its sublime motive “Come into learn and Go out to serve”. To fulfill the needs of the students, the college tries at its best provide the students the first rate knowledge in Arts language, Science and Commerce. The College is well aware about radically changing trends in higher education. Hence, since from academic year 2008-2009 College has started a degree course entitled as Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Master in Computer Applications (MCA) from 2012, Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS) from 2014 and Certificate course in IT Training from 2014. The said degree course aims developing the knowledge of student in Computer, Software, Hardware, Internet, Communication Skills, Business, Ethics, and Business Accounting etc.
